Recently, I got into walking and if you've haven't started yet I will encourage you to do so. Get yourself an affordable walking/running shoes. I will recommend under armour! Grab you an affordable headphone. I currently use the wireless JLabs headphones and download the Strava app (Strava keeps track of the route you take).

With that being laid out, one of the mental healing, and clarification moments for me this season has been walking, and my God, how I wish I had taken advantage of that earlier. But hey, it's never too late to start.
The combination of the right music, and nature allows you to properly process your thoughts and to navigate through any mental blockage that's setting a limit on your growth or just the fear that's keeping you in your comfort zone.
With that, one of the revelations I've made through my walking journey has been my fear of dying. Growing up my name should've been D'et (if you know you know) because death had been following me. From drowning, to locking myself in a freezer (don't ask), to burning my house (don't ask again), to suffering a life altering mental injury all before the age of 10! So, when I say the root of fear of dying was cemented, it's not an understatement. It set me on a path of rushing through things without properly navigating and taking the time to learn and understand.
To every experience, when you allow yourself, revelations always present themselves.
Death used to be the greatest fear and hurdle that placed a cap on my growth and confidence. The change happened with a change in perception. There is nothing worse than death and the foundational belief that death is not the end but rather a transition to eternity gradually builds an irrational boldness.
With this newfound concept, it altered the way I approach life. I live everyday as if within the next minute I will die; with an added-on wisdom on how I face life unlike yesteryears devoid of wisdom in my decision makings. Walking in forgiveness became easier, having a heart of gratitude became simpler, and walking in the Spirit of repentance became healing.
Start walking! Hahaha 😂
